I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art & History at the University of Texas at Austin. I work on Modern & Contemporary Art. I focus on Figuration, Abstraction, and Materiality after the Second World War. I received my MA in Art History & Criticism from Brooklyn College, CUNY.
Tameshk means wild berry (raspberry) in my native language, Farsi. I consider myself a fruit lover and usually I never dislike anything that can be picked from a tree or any plant for that matter. But it is Tameshk that I adore the most among all other fruits. "Tameshk In Kitchen" is my cooking blog.
If only the pickerel had a knife, hope would not be a miracle waiting to happen, but a prize worth fighting for...As a dear friend once said " He who fights may lose. He who doesn't fight has already lost."
