I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art & History at the University of Texas at Austin. I work on Modern & Contemporary Art. I focus on Figuration, Abstraction, and Materiality after the Second World War. I received my MA in Art History & Criticism from Brooklyn College, CUNY.
Tameshk means wild berry (raspberry) in my native language, Farsi. I consider myself a fruit lover and usually I never dislike anything that can be picked from a tree or any plant for that matter. But it is Tameshk that I adore the most among all other fruits. "Tameshk In Kitchen" is my cooking blog.
Thanks! I am glad you liked my piece; it is nice to see the piece's receiving process is close to its creation process; Austin's hot and bright summer, personal experiences of miscommunication with honest intentions, and my own shadow made me think of this irony.

Dear Braden,
